What this is
Most surf brands sell you a holiday. We sell you the car park.
Nobody in this country surfs in board shorts at golden hour. You go in a grey drizzle before work, you change behind a car door, and the ten minutes after you get out are the ten minutes that decide whether you bother again on Thursday.
So that is what we make. Heavyweight cotton with the weight printed on the page, cut for a body that has just been in cold water, in colours that look like this coast actually looks. No palm trees. No vintage campervans. No sunsets over places nobody has surfed.

Most changing robes are the same coat with a different badge on the chest. We are building one for the actual job — getting dry, warm and dressed next to a car in a Cornish gale — and we are doing it in the open, spec and delays and all.

Who makes it
Fifteen years making other people's kit
I designed outerwear for O'Neill, Animal and Superdry, and ran product and innovation at inov-8. Then I got out of the water in February, changed behind a car door like everybody else, and noticed nobody was making anything for that part.
